Born in Georgia, Caroline has lived in Lexington, South Carolina for eighteen years and has called Columbia home for the past three years. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and minors in Psychology and Political Science. While at the College of Charleston, she interned with the Charleston Public Defender's Office, where she developed a passion advocating for the rights of criminal defendants. Upon graduation, Caroline began her legal career at the University of South Carolina School of Law later graduating cum laude.
During law school, Caroline served on the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business and was a member of the Mock Trial Bar, competing in mock trial competitions against other law schools. Caroline also interned with the Navy Judge Advocate's Corps. at Joint Base Pearl Harbor and then clerked for the Shealey Law Firm where she accepted an associate attorney position upon graduation.
Caroline is based out of the Columbia office and focuses her practice on criminal defense and civil litigation. Caroline is eager to fight for her clients, whether that means receiving a favorable outcome on a criminal charge, or a substantial verdict or settlement in a civil case.
Away from the office, Caroline enjoys traveling, going to her gym (Warrior Fitness), and spending time with her girlfriend (Macey) and her rescue dog (Yeti).
